Symptoms of Stress and Anxiety
Anxiety and stress can affect your work, thinking and relationships, as well as your ability to effectively manage your everyday life.
When long-term stress causes a negative outlook, tiredness and lack of energy, people often turn to poor habits, procrastination, or total neglect of responsibilities. That´s not good for a long run.
Anxiety, on the other hand, typically stops people from participating in the activities and exercises they enjoy. This is understandable, as it’s difficult to face the sources of stress and to manage its many symptoms (physical-mental), but the use of relaxation techniques, breathing exercises and meditation can reduce these symptoms and the impact they have on your life.
Stress and anxiety is a natural part of our life. We all have difficulties, negative thoughts or events around us. We can not escape from them. But, we can change our approach toward these situations, events or people. And, that´s the secret.
* Fast breathing, increased heart rate, tense muscles
* Insomnia, or the desire to sleep more than usual
* Loss of appetite
* Chest pain
* Restlessness or nervous energy
* Emotional change
* Lack of concentration
* Focus on the negative
* Depression, constant negative thinking
* Mood changes often
* Anger, dissatisfaction
First you have to recognize the symptoms of stress and anxiety and than you have to make the necessary steps to handle them.
Physical activity, changing eating habits, relaxation and/or meditation techniques can help to reduce the impact of stress on your life.
Seek for medical help if it´s necessary, but try alternative healing methods to be better and have more fun in your daily life.
