 Me during English drama

Me during English drama

When I was in 6 grade I was extremely overweight and my soft cheeks made me even fatter than I was.

I was extremely shy and sensitive. I never had any fun and I never joined with other students in activities. I was ashamed so I took pledge not to play games and sports.

I was headed for failure. But, one day a teacher told me that I was ashamed of my body. He continued "what is it? Is there any particular crime in having fat body? Don't try to hide them. Just speak aloud and thunder the stage without any hesitation."

I've changed overnight. I stood on the stage and gave speech to a huge gathering of students and teachers.

What a luck! All the teacher were proud of me and the students congratulated me. From that moment on I've been considered as the best speaker of my school. At that time I only thought about the audience.

"No matter what happens always be yourself"
Now I'm in ten grade.

Thank you Tenzin!
by: Zoltan - Owner

Thank you Tenzin for your comment.

You are a very brave girl to write about your shyness and sensitiveness. You definitely need the courage to express your feelings and share it with others.

So, congratulation Tenzin.

You are still a very young Lady, but your approach to life is more mature than the majority of people in your age.

Do you know what is the #1 fear that people are facing?

Yes, you got it right. It's the fear of public speaking.

You have already conquered this feeling and that can give you a boost to your self-esteem and confidence.

Thanks again.
